3.30.04 More studio exploits have been documented through the medium photo. Quality video gublets will be making their appearance soon, as well as some new sound clippers. By the way, in case you were wondering, Prince still got it.
3.18.04 Big big updates abound! After a deliriously successful trip to the studio, The Woodsmen emerge victorious, with the data to prove it! Check out the new studio page, featuring sound snippets, movies, photos, and other shazams. Also, be on the lookout for more updates as the reels keep rolling. More recording to ensue this weekend, so keep vigilant, pilgrims.
3.07.04 Pre-production for the new album began yesterday, be sure to check back here for some occasional snippets and tasties. We have added one more last show at Bocci's cellar before we start recording at full power, come on out and scope some of the new songs in a relaxed atmosphere

2.17.04 Three new songs have been posted in The Lab, and all lab interfaces have been dangerously upgraded. No shows to report for a while as we prepare to head into the studio to record our second full-length album (or twentieth, depending on if you count the labor-atory.) Thanks to all for checking us out at our last few shows, especially those that were daring enough to venture into bizarro Bocci territory. Keep your eyes posted on this spot for new Lab entries and live videos.
2.09.04 Thanks to everyone for coming out to the shows this weekend and showing some powerful enthusiasm. We'll be back at Bocci's cellar this Tuesday for some late night zazz. On a sad note, our show this Friday has been cancelled due to things. But fret not, more shows are in the mix. Also, watch for new songs bubblin' their way to the Lab sooner than soon. Und so, das ist alles.
2.05.04 Lots o' shows coming up, including this Friday and Saturday. Are you ready for a verbatim copying and pasting from the Woodsmen newsletter? You bet you are! The shows this weekend will be taped and quickly transferred to DVD for promotional porpoises. So get yo funky butts out there and scream like banshees (or frenchmen.) Also, we'll be back at Bocci's on Tuesday for more late night mayhem and "lets play that song that matt's never heard"-ings. 6.28.03 Well, since this is the first installation of the news, maybe I should run by some things that have been going on. We began recording our first studio album at gadgetbox studios here in lovely Santa Cruz a few months ago, and it sounds simply fabulous. We're in the final stages of mixing now, so look for the album to be out hopefully sometime in September. We got to play a few of the early mixes on the Santa Cruz X 103.9 (Feel You Sighing, Dirty Carpet, and Picnic Queens & Kings.) We also were able to regale our captive radio audience with incredible tales and fables of grandeur. Thanks to Jason and everyone listening for putting up with our nonsense. Speaking of nonsense, I'm back in Pennsylvania for the summer, so we won't be playing any shows until September. In the meantime, look for many more updates to this site. Like a doctor to a nurse.
6.25.03 This is the new site. Feel free to examine.
