6.06.04 Finally an update is upon us! The 'studio' page now has two new songs that you won't be able to find anywhere else, as well as a studio update straight from Governor Gublet Himself. Watch out for some bams and shazams on the video page also. Beware! Long-term plans include several new delightfuls.

5.10.04 Thanks to all for coming out to the Crow's Nest show. As things wind down in the studio, The Woodsmen look forward to the ensuing period of "rest." This means no shows for a while, but stay on the lookout for plenty of new additions to the website, including new songs, movies, and photos. Also, be sure to join in the excitement of The Woodsmen forum, feel free to start a topic of your own. Suggestions include Favorite Breed of Marmoset, Favorite Kielbasa Recipes, and Wrists.
4.22.04 Two new tracks have been released from the Black Hair sessions and are now available for download on the Music page. One is a blistering remix of "No Path", a song that didn't make the final cut for the album but took on a life of its own in this newly doctored form. The other is an alternative version and mix of "Cold is Foot" that's extra heavy on the drumbones. Both feature some deliciously tasty studio work by studio man extraordinaire Andy Zenczak. Stay on the lookout for some new studio snippets, and mark May 5 at The Crow's Nest on your calendar, it may be the last Woodsmen show for a few weeks.
4.14.04 Just two more days until The Woodsmen return to live music madness! The show is 9:00 this Friday at Viva Monterey. Come out and yell out song names in an effort to confuse us as best you can. We know you can do it.
4.05.04 And so there was another update. In recording news, all drum tracks are now completely finished, as well as almost all bass and keyboard parts. Next on the docket: strings, piano, and horns. Be prepared for the unpreparable. As you do so, peruse the newly created visuals section, which contains plenty of the aforementioned video gublets. Some new songs will also be posted sooner than soon. Also, be forewarned that the completion of the drum tracks signals the re-beginning of Woodsmen shows.
